This exhibition marks a significant return for MB GALLERY CHATAN since 2023.

Julio Goya Profile

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1953, Julio Goya graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires in 1983. Since relocating to Japan in 1985, he has garnered numerous awards at various sculpture exhibitions, beginning with the prestigious 1988 Rodin Grand Prize Exhibition at The Utsukushi-ga-hara Open-Air Museum. His work is represented in multiple public collections, including art museums.

He has been an active participant in the Setouchi International Art Festival since 2019. In 2020, he received a commendation award from the Embassy of Argentina in Japan in recognition of his extensive contributions to culture and the arts in Japan.
